SV Client User Guide (0.1.384 and older)
Reference guide for earlier builds of the Windows client, including the group-based connection model those versions used.
Step-by-step
4 stepsIdentify your version
Open the client and check the title bar or About panel. If the number is 0.1.384 or lower, follow this guide; otherwise use the current Client User Guide.
Log in
Enter your VPN username and password. Older clients do not remember credentials between sessions unless you enable it in Options.
Pick a connection group
Legacy clients group servers by region. Select a group from the dropdown, then choose a specific server within it before connecting.
Connect
Click Connect and watch the log window for the “Initialization Sequence Completed” message, which confirms the tunnel is up.
We strongly recommend upgrading to the current client — newer builds connect faster and no longer require manual group selection.
