The quickest fixes for the handful of problems Windows users occasionally hit.
If the client hangs at “connecting”, open Task Manager → Services, find SlickVPNsrvc, right-click and choose Restart. Restart the Windows Event Log service too if the option is greyed out.
Exit the client from the taskbar, open %appdata%, delete SlickVPN.ini, reboot and relaunch to rebuild a clean config.
If text or buttons look blurry, right-click the app → Properties → Compatibility → “Change high DPI settings” and override scaling with “System (Enhanced)”.
If the client warns about DNS, set your adapter DNS to a public resolver, then reconnect. See the dedicated DNS Leak guide for details.
