Almost always a certificate or tls-auth mismatch — re-paste each block from the .ovpn, making sure you include the BEGIN/END lines.

Enable NAT / “Redirect internet traffic” in the OpenVPN client settings so LAN traffic is routed through the tunnel.

Set your router’s DNS to a public resolver and enable “Force DNS” so devices can’t bypass the VPN.
